Following the Bellator 142: Dynamite 1 main card broadcast on Spike TV, the organization held the post fight press conference from the SAP Center in San Jose, California.Bellator 142

The press conference was attended by Bellator President Scott Coker, Liam McGeary, Tito Ortiz, Phil Davis, Josh Thomson, and Linton Vassell.

  1. Sean Grande sucks ass. He messes up so damn much. He knows nothing about Bellator. He knows a lil bit about the UFC. All he talks about is the UFC. What do you think the ppl at Spike, Viacom, and Bellator think about Sean Grande mentioning the UFC all the time? And telling their fighter history instead of Bellator’s history? It’s like he works for the UFC. I really miss Sean Wheelock..

    After Phil Davis won, he was scared he might fail the drug test. What was that about? Nobody really picked that up.

    What are your thoughts about Fedor fighting in Japan on Spike TV US broadcast? It’s a 2 fight deal with former Pride boss’s new promotion. Do you know if he paid more than the UFC was offering. I heard he has a big backer.

    1. Fedor will fight in Russia for M1 after his 2 fight deal is done.

      Phil Davis also asked ppl to pray for him so he wouldn’t fail the drug test after the fight. Was he joking?

  2. Did you see, Tito tapped twice when Liam McGeary had him in the arm bar? But nobody mentioned that. They didn’t even realize it happened.

  3. Some ppl thought the Bellator main event was fixed. Lmfao. Either those ppl are huge Tito fans, UFC only fans, or don’t know anything about MMA.

    What’s up with ppl thinking all of Bellator’s fights are fixed? A lot of ppl didn’t like Bellator Dynamite based on what I read and heard. Hbu?

    I can’t believe they’re going with Chandler vs Rickels II. I could careless about that rematch.. I hope they do Chandler vs Thomson early next yr.

    2. With being on the road this weekend, I have not watched the show at this moment. I will give all of my thoughts on the show tomorrow during the post fight show.

  4. UFC stole Bellator’s two slogans. Their old one “The toughest tournaments in sports” and their current one “Live and free”

    Do you think the UFC will counter program Spike TV NYE’s card?

    Btw do you know if Bellator 147 in Fresno is 100% still on December 11th? That doesn’t make any sense. What will they gain going on that night? Answer very low ratings..

    1. FYI: Live and Free is a term that has been used in television for years. This is not something Bellator created.

  5. Actually Fedor’s ppl say it’s a one fight deal. Do you think after he fights NYE he’ll sign with UFC? Or fight for M1 and then the UFC? I hope he’s back for a few fights, not just one.

  6. What happened to Bellator Dynamite’s prelims after the main card? They don’t have the results of them online anywhere.
