Bellator MMA President Scott Coker recently announced that the promotion is planning to introduce a women’s flyweight title and promotion has added three more 125 pound fighters to the roster as the organization has signed Bruna Ellen, Bruna Vargas and Kenya Miranda to exclusive, multi-fight contracts.
The signings were announced by Bellator MMA in a press release on Thursday.
Ellen (2-0) made her pro debut last year at Max Fight 14 and scored a decision victory against Elen Torres. She returned to the competition five months later and scored a stoppage victory against Pamela Mara Assis. Vargas (2-0) turned professional over two years ago and opened her career with a submission victory against Thaiane Souza. She followed up that win with a decision victory against Rafaela Garcia in April of 2014. Miranda (2-2) has alternated wins and losses since turning pro and both of her victories are by stoppage. Her most recent fight came in September as she defeated Natalia Cristina Miranda Silva by submission at Ratinho Fighting Championship 4.
The Bellator debut of Ellen, Vargas and Miranda is scheduled to take place later this year.
