Fernando Gonzalez was recently pulled from next month’s Bellator 158 due to visa issues and stepping up to replace Gonzalez against Michael Page will be Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos.
The fight change was announced by Bellator in a press release on Thursday.
Bellator 158 will come from the O2 Arena in London, England on July 16 and the main card will feature a welterweight bout between former Bellator champion Douglas Lima and Paul Daley.
Santos (21-17) was signed by Bellator earlier this year and won his promotional debut against Brennan Ward at Bellator 153. He will enter this fight following a lost as he was defeated by Saad Awad at Bellator 154. Page (10-0) has gone 6-0 in Bellator and is coming off a submission win in April against Jeremie Holloway. Nine of his ten wins have come by stoppage in the opening round and six of those wins have come by TKO/KO.
