M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Alexey Kunchenko will make his first title defense on September 10 at M-1 Challenge 70 as he will meet Maxim Grabovich in the main event of the fight card.
The fight booking was announced by the promotion in a press release on Friday.
M-1 Challenge 70 will come from Syktyvkar, Russia and will be streamed on M1Global.TV.
Kunchenko (13-0) is coming off a TKO win against Murad Abdulaev at M-1 Challenge 65 and eleven of his thirteen wins have come by TKO/KO. Four of his last six wins have come in the opening round and his only submission victory came in his pro debut in 2013. Grabovich (4-2) has won back to back fights and is coming off a decision win at M-1 Challenge 68 against Danila Prikaza.
