Chris Honeycutt has a new contract with Bellator MMA as the California-based fighter has signed a long term contract extension with the promotion.
The contract extension for Honeycutt was confirmed to The MMA Report on Tuesday.
Honeycutt (10-2, 1NC) has been in Bellator since the fall of 2014 and has won seven of his ten fights in the promotion. He entered Bellator as a welterweight and he returned to the middleweight division in 2016. Since returning to the 185 pound division, he’s gone 3-1 and is coming off a decision defeat against Rafael Lovato Jr. at Bellator 189 at the end of the year.
With Honeycutt signing a long-term contract extension with the promotion, a fight announcement is likely coming in the near future.
