Rafaello Oliveira had to pull out of his fight at UFC on FOX 5 against Michael Chiesa with a hand injury and the UFC has already been able to find a new opponent for Chiesa.
Chiesa told TheMMAReport.com that he will be facing Marcus LeVesseur and the fight will take place on the preliminary card of UFC on FOX 5.
Chiesa (8-0) won “The Ultimate Fighter 15” and this will be his first time back in the octagon since winning the reality show earlier this season. He holds six career submission victories and his last four wins are by submission, with the last four wins all coming by rear-naked choke.
LeVesseur (22-6) recently won his first UFC fight at UFC on FX 5 against Carlo Prater by split decision and has gone 1-1 in the UFC. He has won four of his last five fights and has 17 career wins by with submission or knockout.
UFC on FOX 5 takes place on December 8th at KeyArena in Seattle and will be headlined by Benson Henderson defending the UFC lightweight title against Nate Diaz and the card will also former light heavyweight champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua meeting Alexander Gustafsson.
