An undisclosed injury has forced Josh Koscheck to withdraw from his bout against Demian Maia at UFC 163 on August 3rd and the card will now have twelve bouts.
UFC officials announced the change on Friday morning and they did not announce which fight will be added to the main card on pay-per-view.
UFC 163 takes place from the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janerio, Brazil on August 3rd and will be headlined by Jose Aldo defending the UFC featherweight title against Chan Sung Jung.
A timetable for the return of Koscheck was not released by the UFC today and all signs point to Maia being scheduled to fight someone else in a future UFC show.
