Bellator MMA Director of Communications Anthony Mazzuca announced the change following the Bellator 113 Weigh-Ins on Thursday evening.

According to Mazzuca, Tapusoa was unable to meet the requirements to fight and Rogers will be paid his show money. Also, Bellator will look to schedule Rogers for a fight in the near future.

TheMMAReport.com reached out to Martin Thomas of the Kansas Athletic Commission for an official statement on Tapusoa, which he stated that the commission does not disclose information regarding specific fighters.

Following the announcement of the change, Rogers posted a video on Instagram with a short message that his opponent pulled out of the fight at the last minute.

Tapusoa (8-2) was set to make his Bellator debut in this bout and had won eight of his last nine fights after losing his professional debut in 2009. His last two wins have come by submission and a victory over Rogers could have put him in a good position for a potential spot in an upcoming Bellator tournament.
