According to the report, the signing of Slice will be announced on tonight’s Bellator 132 broadcast on Spike TV and his first opponent in Bellator MMA has not been determined. At this time, Bellator MMA has not officially confirmed the signing.

Slice (4-2 MMA, 7-0 Boxing) entered MMA back in 2007 and scored three straight victories against Bo Cantrell, Tank Abbott, and James Thompson. He was scheduled to face Ken Shamrock at Elite XC: Heat on October 4, 2008 but Shamrock pulled out of the fight card on the day of the event and he ended up facing Seth Petruzelli, who defeated him in 14 seconds.

He would end up going on The Ultimate Fighter 10 and was a member of Team Rampage. He would be eliminated in the opening round of the tournament by Roy Nelson and won his official UFC debut against Houston Alexander in the live finale. Following the bout against Alexander, he faced fellow Ultimate Fighter cast member Matt Mitrione and lost by TKO at UFC 113.

He was released by the UFC after that fight and he turned to boxing in 2011. His last boxing fight took place at the beginning of 2013 in Australia and defeated Shane Tilyard by knockout in the second round.
