  1. Alright, let’s just get it out of the way right now, Kimbo to Bellator? What are your thoughts? I think he’s sliding right into the British Invasion card next month to fight JT.

  2. Also, do you think Kimbo stands any chance against James Thompson? I mean JT took Kimbo down and pounded him out 5 years ago. Kimbo is now 41, his knees must be beyond shot, his cardio probably even worse. JT has definitely improved. Do you think there is any chance at all Kimbo can win?

  3. Also, where is the promotion for Pitbull vs Straus? Pitbull is the best FW fighting this weekend and nobody is talking about it. Is Bellator’s best way of advertising this fight is by leaking Kimbo news?

  4. How do you feel about the UFC going all in for Conor McGregor? Have they ever promoted a fighter like this? Not even Tito got this much promotion. This is unheard of by the UFC.

  5. I think when Kimbo fights for Bellator it should be on a Saturday not Friday. More ppl will watch on Saturday. Kimbo vs Thompson 2 or Kongo vs Kimbo/ Lashley vs Kimbo? Btw do you know how many fights it is for? Do you think Kimbo will bring in the viewers he once did or do you think it will be less than before? I thought Kimbo didn’t wanna fight in MMA anymore? Guess it is all about the money huh. I think you need to tell Bellator that Pitbull vs Straus is a flipping rematch. Wake up Bellator..

  6. If I was Bellator I would get rid of Mercedes and resign Jade Bryce. Jade Bryce/ Summer Daniels 2 blondes is better than 1. What’s the word on Monster/ UFC do you know and the anti trust lawsuit? Do you expect Kimbo to replace Lashley or do you think Kimbo will fight at the next tent pole event in April?

  7. How do you expect Bellator to build their own fighters when all they do is release them. Bellator should offer Lesnar 10 million dollars and a hunting show on CMT. Then they should make Lesnar vs Kimbo. That would do massive ratings on Spike. Maybe 7 or 8 million viewers. It is a freak show fight, but hey that’s what the new Bellator is all about.

  8. Tony Johnson is not making his debuting. He fought back at Bellator 46 vs Derick Lewis. He won by decision.

  10. If Pitbull/Straus doesnt do well but fight is great nobody says oh but the fight was awesome. Its always the card flopped. If Jones/DC was great fight,war, FOTY but PPV buys were 350k the UFC gets crushed.

    So if thats what everyone focuses on why not bring that guy in who gets you 2 mill viewers, 500k PPV buys and let everyone see the talent on rest of the card. Will Brooks, Dantas etc. Cause lets be real, Halsey, Dantas, Newton arent doing 2 million viewers. TJ, Mighty Mouse arent doing 400k PPV buys. But you know what, Kimbo will, CM Punk probably drives whatever PPV he’s on up to 500k mark if main event is solid.

    MMA is a mix of pure fighting, talent and then entertainment/gimmick. Pride was that, UFC is that, SF was that, Bellator is that. Its a balancing act. Both UFC and Bellator still put on way more legit fights with top talent than they do freak shows.

  11. I dont know what Pitbull/Straus does. Two months off but little promo but its been gone for a while so the hardcores are eager for them to come back.

    Also dont think WWE is on Fri anymore so that could free up some viewers looking for something to watch. It will be interesting to see what they do.

    Fights awesome though, Pitbull is top 5-6 and must watch. Straus is a tough test.

    1. I think it’s likely in 650-700k average for the entire show. Promotion for the fight is just odd. No mention at all that this is a rematch.

  12. Do you think Bellator will put Kimbo on PPV for a fight and then the rest be on Spike TV? I think his first couple of fights should be on Spike tho and then maybe try another PPV. What does Kimbo have left in the gas tank at 41? Btw do you think Bellator will tell Kimbo’s opponents to only stand with him like Elite XC did lol? If not then Kimbo needs to work on his ground game.

      1. I’m pretty sure if Bjorn was still in power he would sign Thiago Silva. What is worse Bjorn signing and protecting WM or Sefo/ Ali signing and protecting Silva? I think WM is worse. But both Bellator/ WSOF have associated with criminals a bunch of times.
