Two fights have been added to The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale on December 11 in Las Vegas as the matchups are Mirsad Bektic vs. Tatsuya Kawajiri and Justin Scoggins vs. Joby Sanchez.
Both fight bookings were announced by the UFC on Thursday evening.
The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale will come from the Chelsea inside the Cosmopolitan and will be headlined by a featherweight bout as Frankie Edgar meets Chad Mendes.
Bektic (10-0) entered the UFC last year and has gone 3-0 in the promotion. His most recent win came in May as he defeated Lucas Martins by TKO and five of his ten wins have come by TKO/KO. Kawajiri (34-8-2) is coming off a decision win against Dennis Siver in June and he is 2-1 since coming to the UFC last year. He is 7-1 in his last eight fights and four of those wins have come by submission.
Scoggins (10-2) snapped a two fight losing streak in May when he defeated Josh Sampo by unanimous decision at UFC 187. He is 3-2 in the UFC and two of the three wins have come by decision. Sanchez (7-1) lost his UFC debut last year against Wilson Reis and enters this fight following a win over Tateki Matsuda in January. Six of his seven wins have come by finish, including a TKO win over Antonio Banuelos last year.
