The Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulations recently ordered out-of-competition drug tests for four of the fighters on the upcoming Bellator 144 fight card and the samples submitted by Marcos Galvao and Brandon Halsey have come back clean.
The drug test results were confirmed to The MMA Report by Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulations Director Mike Mazzulli on Monday evening and the results for the drug test submitted by Eduardo Dantas and Rafael Carvalho are expected later this week.
As I previously reported, The Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA) is assisting the Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulations on the drug test samples for Dantas and Carvalho.
Bellator 144 will come from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on October 23 and the card is scheduled to be headlined by Galvao defending the bantamweight title against Dantas in a rematch of their 2013 bout that Dantas won by knockout.
