A women’s flyweight bout between undefeated fighters has been added to the Bellator 161 main card on September 16 in Cedar Park, Texas as Anastasia Yankova will meet Veta Arteaga.
The fight booking was announced by Bellator on Thursday in a press release.
Bellator 161 will come from the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park, Texas and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as former title challenger Cheick Kongo will meet Tony Johnson.
Yankova (3-0) made her Bellator debut earlier this year in Italy and defeated Anjela Pink by submission in the first round. All of her wins have come by submission and her last two wins have come in the opening round. Arteaga (2-0) also won her Bellator debut earlier this year as she defeated Jackie Vandenburgh by unanimous decision. Both of her professional wins have come by decision as she won her pro debut by split decision against Ashley Deen.
