Eduardo Dantas explains why he calls himself “The Untouchable”

The main event of Friday’s Bellator 177 will be a title fight as Eduardo Dantas will defend the bantamweight title against Leandro Higo on the fight card coming from the Budapest Sports Arena in Budapest, Hungary.

Dantas (19-4) became a two-time Bellator bantamweight champion last year when he scored a decision win over Marcos Galvao at Bellator 156. He followed up that victory with a successful title defense against Joe Warren at Bellator 166 and was initially scheduled to defend the title against Darrion Caldwell. However, Caldwell suffered an undisclosed injury and Bellator gave the title fight to Higo.

During last week’s episode of “The MMA Report Podcast,” Dantas was a guest on the podcast to preview his title defense on Friday against Higo.
