The injury bug has once again hit the UFC as Ben Rothwell has been force to pull out of next week’s UFC on FOX 4 fight card.
He was scheduled to meet Travis Browne on the main card and the UFC is now looking to find his replacement.
MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani is reporting that the UFC has offered the fight to former Strikeforce fighter Devin Cole. Multiple media outlets have reported the injury of Rothwell and Helwani reported that the injury that caused him to pull out of the fight is an injured ankle.
With Rothwell out of next week’s fight, three of the four fights on the main card have been changed due to an injury. The only fight that has stayed the same since the card was announce is the co-main event as former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida will take on Ultimate Fighter winner Ryan Bader.
