Bellator 73 on Friday night will decide title contenders in two divisions

The Bellator Fighting Championships will wrap up the 2012 Summer Series this Friday night at Harrah’s Tunica and will be headlined by two tournament finals.

The fight card was originally scheduled to be headlined by Pat Curran making his first featherweight title defense against Patricio “Pitbull” Freire, but he fractured his orbital bone in training and had to pull out of the fight last week.

After the injury to Curran, Bellator pulled Pitbull from the card and the title fight has not been rescheduled to this point.

The main event on MTV2/EPIX2 will be the final of the Summer Series Light Heavyweight Tournament as Travis Wiuff (68-14) meets Attila Vegh (27-4-2) and the winner will receive a title shot against the current champion Christian M’Pumbu.

The other tournament final will be the season six bantamweight tournament as Luis Nogueira (14-2) meets Marcos Galvao (12-5-1) and the winner will face Eduardo Dantas at Bellator 79 on November 2nd for the title.

The complete card is below and be sure to check out this week’s “The MMA Report Podcast,” which Travis Wiuff will be a guest and the podcast will be released tomorrow.
