Jose Aldo injured and out of UFC 153 main event

UFC President Dana White has always said that bad stuff happens everyday and today is a perfect example of this.

UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo has suffered an injury to his foot and has been forced to pull out of the main event of UFC 153 against Frankie Edgar.

The foot injury could be related to the recent motorcycle accident that Aldo was involved in.

White made the announcement on Twitter this afternoon and this is the second injury to happen to the UFC 153 main card this afternoon.

Over the past couple of weeks, the UFC has had to change three fights on the main card of UFC 153.

Vitor Belfort was originally scheduled to meet Alan Belcher, but Belfort was moved to the UFC 152 card to meet Jon Jones and Belcher has suffered an injury which pulled him off the card.

Then Erik Koch pulled out of the main event against Aldo with a knee injury and former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar agreed to meet Aldo.

Now with the injury to Aldo and Rampage, the UFC has to find a new main and co-main event.
