The second international edition of “The Ultimate Fighter” will debut in two weeks as this season will be Team Australia vs. Team England and this season is called “The Smashes.”
This season will feature fighters in the lightweight and welterweight divisions with the coaches being George Sotiropoulos and Ross Pearson.
The debut episode will debut on September 19th at 7:30 p.m. AEST on FX in Australia. The entire season will last 13 episodes and fans outside of Australia will be able to watch the reality show on TUF.tv.
“These guys have definitely made the second international TUF show ‘can’t miss’ TV,” said UFC President Dana White. “Going into this thing, I had no idea just how much the Aussies and the Brits can’t stand losing to each other. Now I know.”
The live finale will take place in December with a three hour finale and the coaches will meet in the finale.
