The UFC has added a lightweight bout to UFC 155 on December 29th in Las Vegas with TUF alums squaring as Michael Johnson meeting Myles Jury.
The fight was initially reported by ESPN and TheMMAReport.com has been able to confirm the fight booking.
Johnson (12-6) was a finalist during the 12th season of “The Ultimate Fighter” and is currently on a three fight winning streak. He credits his recent win streak to moving his training to South Florida and the Blackzilian camps.
In his last fight, he was dominated in the first round by Danny Castillo at UFC on FX 5, but turned it around in the second round and finished Castillo by knockout at the 1:06 mark of the round.
Jury (10-0) is actually an alum of two different seasons of the UFC reality show. He was originally on season 13, but had to leave the show in the first week with a knee injury. He returned during season 15th and lost to Al Iaquinta on the show.
He officially made his UFC debut at the live finale and defeated Chris Saunders by submission in the first round. All ten of his professional wins are by stoppage and all of the wins have come in the first round.
UFC 155 takes place on December 29th from the MGM Grand Garden Arena and will be headlined by Junior dos Santos defending the UFC heavyweight title against Cain Velasquez.
