Mike Pierce replaces Kyle Noke against Seth Baczynski at UFC on FX 6

It was announced late last week that Kyle Noke had suffered an injury and was out of his UFC on FX 6 bout against Seth Baczynski.

The UFC has found a replacement for Noke and Baczynski will now face Mike Pierce and it’s unknown if the fight will be on the main or preliminary portion of the card.

Pierce (15-5) is currently on a two fight winning streak and has gone 7-3 in the UFC. His three UFC losses have come against top contenders Jon Fitch, Johny Hendricks and Josh Koscheck.

His last fight took place at UFC on FX 5 against Aaron Simpson and he won the fight by knockout in the second round. The knockout victory was only his second UFC victory by knockout and the first time since the beginning of 2011.

Baczynski (17-6) was on season 11 of TUF and was released after losing to Brad Tavares at the finale. Since that lost, he has won six in a row and came back to the UFC last year. Since coming back to the company, he has four straight wins and his most recent win came at UFC 152 against Simeon Thoresen.

UFC on FX 6 takes place on December 14th from the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach, Gold Coast, Australia and will be headlined by Ross Pearson taking on George Sotiropoulos.
