Quinton “Rampage” Jackson was scheduled to face Glover Teixeira at UFC 153, but he suffered a knee injury and had to pull out of the fight.
Teixeira ended up taking on Fabio Maldonado and won by TKO at the end of the second round by a doctor stoppage.
It was his 17th straight victory and his 12th career win by knockout.
In his post fight interview, Teixeira mentioned that he would be interested in having a fight with Rampage.
