Bellator welterweight Ryan Ford has been scheduled to be on the Bellator 79 card next week in Canada and was scheduled to take on Chris Curtis, but he will now face Kyle Baker instead.

It was reported last week that Baker would be taking on Paul Daley, but the fight was never official and Daley could not take part in the card because of visa issues. With his fight with Daley scratched, Bellator decided to keep him on the card and face Ford.
Ford (18-4) made his Bellator debut earlier this year with a knockout victory in the second round over Luis Santos. He is currently on a two fight winning streak and has won six of his last seven fights.
Baker (12-6) will be making his Bellator debut in this fight and has gone 3-3 in his last six fights. He has ten career victories by knockout or submission and six of his last seven wins are by knockout.
Bellator 79 takes place next Friday night at Casino Rama in Canada and will feature a heavyweight tournament semifinal and a featherweight tournament semifinal bout.
