Several bouts added to TUF 16 Finale including Mike Pyle vs. James Head

The UFC announced that tickets for “The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale” go on sale next week and the organization has confirmed five additional bout for the card coming from The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

The fights that were added today officially were Mike Pyle vs. James Head, Nick Catone vs. TJ Waldburger, Rustam Khabilov vs. Vinc Pichel, Reuben Duran vs. Hugo Viana and Johnny Bedford vs. Marcos Vinicius.

The UFC has already announced that the card will be headlined by a five round heavyweight fight as TUF coaches Shane Carwin will meet Roy Nelson and will have the welterweight final of this seasons reality show.

The fight between Pyle and Head was already known, since Pyle went to Twitter to tell his fans that he would be fighting on the card and the Catone/Waldburger bout had been reported by various media outlets.

Khabilov (14-1) was recently signed by the UFC and this will be his debut. He is currently on a three fight winning streak, which included a win at ONE FC in February. Pichel (6-0) was a semifinalist during the 15th season of TUF and this will be his UFC debut. He was scheduled to be on the live finale, but the fight was canceled when his opponent was unable to compete.

Duran (8-3-1) has gone 1-1 in his UFC career and is coming off a submission of the night victory against Francisco Rivera at the TUF 13 Finale. Viana (6-0) was a semifinalist on TUF: Brazil and made his official UFC debut at UFC 147, which was a decision victory over John Teixeira.

Bedford (18-9-1) was a semifinalist on TUF 14, which he lost to John Dodson in the semifinals. He made his official UFC debut at the live finale and defeated Louis Gaudinot by TKO in the third round. Vinicius (20-3-1) was a contestant on TUF: Brazil and made his UFC debut at UFC 147. His debut came against Wagner Campos, which he won the fight in the third round by TKO and won the knockout of the night bonus.
