A featherweight bout has been added to the UFC 154 card on November 17th in Montreal as Steven Siler will take on Darren Elkins.
The fight announcement was made by the UFC today and the fight will take place on the preliminary card.
Siler (21-9) entered the UFC during season 14 of “The Ultimate Fighter” and made it to the quarterfinals of the reality show, where he was defeated by eventual “Ultimate Fighter” champion Diego Brandao.
His official UFC debut came at the live finale, which was a decision victory over John Clopton. He is currently 3-0 in the UFC and is coming off a submission victory at UFC on FX 4 against Joey Gambino.
Elkins (14-2) has won four of his five fights in the UFC, with his only lost coming against Charles Oliveira in a lightweight bout. After the Oliveira fight, he dropped down to the featherweight division and has won three in a row.
All three of his wins in the UFC featherweight division are by decision, with his most recent victory coming against Brandao at UFC 146.
UFC 154 takes place on November 17th from the Bell Centre in Montreal and will be headlined by a welterweight title unification bout as champion Georges St-Pierre takes on interim champion Carlos Condit.
