Anthony Perosh out of UFC on FX 6 with a toe injury

Anthony Perosh was scheduled to meet Joey Beltran on the preliminary card of UFC on FX 6, but he has had to pull out of the fight with a toe injury.

The news of the injury was reported by MMA journalist Adam Ireland, who sent out a tweet of the injury. The tweet included a picture of the injured toe, which is graphic.

According to Ireland, Perosh had surgery on the injured toe and is hoping to be back in training in four to six weeks.

A replacement for Perosh has not been announced by the UFC at this time and a new opponent for Beltran should be announced in the next couple of days.

UFC on FX 6 takes place on December 14th at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach, Gold Coast, Australia and will be headlined by a lightweight bout between George Sotiropoulos and Ross Pearson, who are the coaches in TUF: The Smashes.
