Bellator heads to Michigan for the first time for Bellator 82 on November 30th

The Bellator Fighting Championships will be heading to Michigan for the first time in the organizations history as Bellator 82 will come from The Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mount Pleasant, Michigan on November 30th.

The fight card will be headlined by the Season Seven Welterweight Tournament Final as Lyman Good (14-2) meets Andrey Koreshkov (12-0) and the winner of the fight will earn a title shot.

Tickets for the event are on sale and are available at, and The Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort Box Office, with tickets are priced from $25-$60.

The fight card will also see a welterweight bout between Bellator veterans David Rickels (10-1) and Michigan’s own Jason Fischer (4-0).

“I’ve been incredibly lucky to collect two huge victories with Bellator, so to get this opportunity to fight David Rickels in front of all my friends and family, it really is a dream come true,” said Fischer. “The University of Central Michigan is like a second home to me, so I’m counting the days until November 30th.”

Also on the Bellator card will be the professional MMA debut of former U.S. Olympic wrestling qualifier Shawn Bunch. He has been training at American Kickboxing Academy in California and is looking forward to making his debut at the end of the month.

“I’ve had my sights set on Bellator for a long time,” Bunch said. “While I’ve been training in MMA for over four years, I’ve never been able to fully focus on the sport with my wrestling obligations. After watching guys like Ben Askren and King Mo, guys I really look up to in this sport have success, I knew the time was right to make the move to Bellator.”

Bellator will be announcing more fights for this fight card in the coming weeks.
