Cody McKenzie vs. Leonard Garcia added to UFC 155

The UFC has added a featherweight bout to the UFC 155 preliminary card as TUF alum Cody McKenzie will meet Leonard Garcia.

The fight announcement was made today by UFC officials and the UFC 155 card now has eleven fights.

McKenzie (13-3) has gone 2-3 in the UFC since making his offical debut at The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale and has lost three of his last four fights. In his last fight, he received a step up in competition against Chad Mendes and was defeated in the first round by knockout.

Garcia (15-9-1) is a veteran of the WEC/UFC and is currently on a three fight losing streak. He is one of the most entertaining fighters in the UFC, which is a reason why he was not cut after his last lost. He is 2-5-1 in his last seven fights and the wins during this stretch have come against Chan Sung Jung and Nam Phan.

UFC 155 takes place on December 29th from the MGM Grand Garden Arena and will be headlined by Junior dos Santos defending the UFC heavyweight title against Cain Velasquez.
