Urijah Faber recently returned to full training and is reportedly set to return to the octagon at UFC 156 on February 2nd against Vaughan Lee.
The fight booking is being reported by Tatame and UFC officials have not confirmed the report at this time.
Faber (26-6) is a former WEC featherweight champion and has gone 0-2 in title fights in the UFC. Since moving down to the bantamweight division, he has won three of his five fight.
Both of his losses in the UFC have come in title fights and is coming off a decision lost to Renan Barao at UFC 149, which was for the interim bantamweight title. He injured his ribs during the fight and his doctor recently cleared him to resume full training.
Lee (12-8-1) entered the UFC last year and has lost two of his three fights in the UFC. He lost his UFC debut at UFC 138 and returned at UFC 144, which he defeated Kid Yamamoto by submission and won the submission of the night bonus.
His last fight took place at UFC on FUEL TV 4 against Faber’s teammate TJ Dillashaw and was defeated by rear-naked choke submission in the first round and it was the fifth time that he has been defeated by submission.
UFC 156 takes place on February 2nd from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and will be headlined by Jose Aldo defending his featherweight title against former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar.
