A reported welterweight bout is now official as “Ultimate Fighter 16″semifinalist Jon Manley and Neil Magny will meet at UFC 157 on February 23rd.
UFC officials confirmed the fight booking over the weekend and the fight will likely take place on the preliminary card of UFC 157 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
Manley (7-1) is currently on a two fight winning streak and three of his seven victories are by submission. His only career defeat came in 2009, which was a decision lost to Dennis Olson.
Magny (7-1) started his career with six straight victories, which four of them were by stoppage. Before entering the UFC reality show, he defeated Daniel Sandmann by decision in February at HFC 10.
UFC 157 takes place on February 23rd from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California and will be headlined by Ronda Rousey defending the UFC women’s bantamweight title against Liz Carmouche.
