Tim Means out of UFC on FOX 5 and Marcus LeVesseur steps in against Abel Trujillo

The UFC has announced a change to the UFC on FOX 5 preliminary card as lightweight fighter Tim Means has had to pull out of his fight with Abel Trujillo after he fell in the sauna today in Seattle.

UFC President Dana White announced the changed on Twitter today and announced that they have found a new opponent for Trujillo.

“The UFC curse strikes again,” White tweeted. “Tim Means slips in sauna and KO’s himself so now Marcus LeVesseur vs Abel Trujillo.”

LeVesseur (22-6) was scheduled to be on the card tomorrow night until earlier this week when his opponent Michael Chiesa became ill and had to pull out of the fight. After losing his UFC debut at UFC on FUEL TV 2 against Cody McKenzie, he defeated Carlo Prater by split decision at UFC on FX 5 to get his first UFC victory.

Trujillo (9-4) will be making his UFC debut tomorrow night and he is a member of the Blackzilian camp in South Florida. He is currently on a four fight winning streak, with three of those wins coming by decision. He was scheduled to make his debut against Means at UFC 151 before the fight card was canceled.

The bout with LeVesseur and Trujillo is expected to stay on the preliminary card on FX, which will start at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT and stay tuned to TheMMAReport.com for continuing coverage of tomorrow nights fight card.
