UFC on FOX 5 Weigh-In Results: Henderson/Diaz official for lightweight title

The UFC on FOX 5 weigh-in’s took place on Friday afternoon in Seattle and Nate Diaz would need additional time to make weight for his fight tomorrow night against Benson Henderson.

In title fights, there is no one pound allowance and he initially weighed in at 155.6 pounds.

After taking the additional time allowed by the commission, Diaz made weight at 155 pounds and his fight with Henderson became official after the champion already made weight.

The only fighter that was unable to make weight for their fight was preliminary card fighter Henry Martinez. He missed the lightweight limit of 156 pounds by 2.8 pounds and elected to lose 20 percent of his purse instead of attempting to make weight.
