Dennis Siver was scheduled to face Cub Swanson in the co-main event of UFC on FUEL TV 7 on February 16th in London, but he has pulled out of the fight and stepping in to face Swanson will be Dustin Poirier.
UFC officials announced the change on Thursday and the new fight will remain as the co-main event of the fight card coming from Wembley Arena.
Swanson (18-5) is currently on a three fight winning streak and his only lost in the UFC came in his debut against Ricardo Lamas. His last two victories have come by knockout and in both fights, he has won the knockout of the night bonus.
Poirier (13-2) came to the UFC in the merger with the WEC and immediately dropped down to the featherweight division and has won five of his six fights in the organization. After winning his first four fights in the UFC, he was defeated by Chan Sung Jung at UFC on FUEL TV 3 last year. He returned to the UFC in late 2012 at The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale and defeated Jonathan Brookins by submission in the first round.
UFC on FUEL TV 7 will take place on February 16th from Wembley Arena in London and will be headlined by Renan Barao defending the interim UFC bantamweight title against Michael McDonald.
