Demetrious Johnson makes next title defense against John Moraga at TUF 17 Finale

The UFC has been announcing bouts for The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale today and the main event has been revealed as Demetrious Johnson will defend the UFC flyweight title against John Moraga.

The news of the fight was initially reported by the Las Vegas Review Journal and the UFC has confirmed the report.

The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale will take place on April 13th and will take place at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

Johnson (17-2-1) recently made his first flyweight title defense in the main event of UFC on FOX 6 when he defeated John Dodson by unanimous decision. It was his third straight win, with the other victories coming against Ian McCall and Joseph Benavidez in the flyweight tournament.

Moraga (13-1) is currently on a seven fight winning streak and has gone 2-0 in the UFC. Both of his UFC wins are by stoppage, which includes a submission of the night win in his last fight against Chris Cariaso at UFC 155. It was his sixth career win by submission and four of his last seven wins have come by submission.
