Light Heavyweight Title fight headlines Thursday’s Bellator 91

The eight season of Bellator MMA will continue on Thursday night as the organization heads to New Mexico for Bellator 91, which will be headlined by a light heavyweight title fight. Bellator 91

The preliminary card will begin at 8 p.m. ET on Spike.com with six fights and the main card will begin at 10 p.m. ET on Spike TV with four fights, which will include the title fight and the semifinals in this season’s lightweight tournament.

In the main event, Bellator light heavyweight champion Christian M’Pumbu (18-4-1) will make his first title defense as he is challenged by Attila Vegh (28-4-2), who won the 2012 Summer Series Tournament.

Along with the title fight, the main card will see the semifinals in the lightweight tournament as Saad Awad (13-4) meet Will Brooks (9-0) and Jason Fischer (6-1) facing David Rickels (12-1). The winners of the semifinal bouts will advance to the finals, which is scheduled to take place on March 28th at Bellator 94.
