An undisclosed injury has forced Mitch Gagnon out of next month’s UFC 158 and replacing him against Issei Tamura will be TJ Dillashaw. UFC158 #2

UFC officials announced the change on Tuesday and the fight will take place on the preliminary card.

Dillashaw (6-1) was the runner up during the Ultimate Fighter 14 to John Dodson and has won back to back fights since losing in the final of the reality show. His most recent win came at UFC on FUEL TV 4 last year by submission against Vaughan Lee and it was his third career win by submission.

Tamura (7-3) won his UFC debut last year at UFC 144 in Japan with a TKO win over Zhang Tiequan. After the fight, he moved down to the bantamweight division and was defeated by Raphael Assuncao in the second round by TKO.

UFC 158 takes place on March 16th from the Bell Centre in Montreal and will be headlined by Georges St-Pierre defending the UFC welterweight title against former Strikeforce champion Nick Diaz.
