Bellator MMA will wrap up their eighth season on April 4th from the Revel Casino in Atlantic City as the main card on Spike TV will feature a title fight and two tournament finals.Bellator 95

The fight card will be headlined by Pat Curran (18-4) defending the Bellator featherweight title for a second time this season as he is challenged by season seven tournament winner Shahbulat Shamhalaev (12-1-1).

Both fighters are known for their striking and Curran knows that his opponent is a counter striker and he seeings openings in him.

“He’s a great counter striker, as am I, and I see a lot of openings with Shabulat,” Curran said. “Shabulat brings one punch knockout power, and with my style, it’s going to be a swing for fences fight. This is my second fight this season, and I couldn’t ask for more. I love staying active, and Bellator has provided that for me.”

Along with the title fight, the main card will see the finals in this seasons featherweight and middleweight tournaments. Mike Richman (15-2) will face Frodo Khasbulaev (20-5) in the featherweight final and Brett Cooper (19-7) meets Doug Marshall in the middleweight final. The winners of the tournament finals will win $100,000 and a guaranteed title shot in Bellator.
