A middleweight bout has been added to UFC 162 on July 6th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena as Chris Leben will face Andrew Craig.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Tuesday as the fight has been agreed to by both fighters.
Leben (22-9) has lost back to back fights and he has been defeated in three of his last four. Two of his last three losses have come by TKO and was recently defeated by Derek Brunson at UFC 155.
His fight against Brunson was his first fight in over a year. Following his fight at UFC 138 against Mark Munoz, the UFC suspended the Ultimate Fighter alum following a positive drug test for a banned substance.
Craig (8-1) started his career with six straight wins prior to being signed by the UFC. He won his first two fights in the UFC, which included a second round knockout victory over Rafael Natal at UFC on FUEL TV 4. He was defeated at the beginning of the year at UFC on FX 7 against Ronny Markes and lost by unanimous decision.
UFC 162 takes place on July 6th from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and will be headlined by Anderson Silva defending the UFC middleweight title against Chris Weidman.
