A pair of bouts have been added to UFC 161 on June 15th in Canada as Sean Pierson meets TJ Waldburger in a welterweight bout and Sam Stout faces Issac Vallie-Flagg in a lightweight bout.
UFC officials announced both fights on Wednesday and both will take place on the preliminary card.
Pierson (13-6) is 3-2 in the UFC and has won back to back fights. All three of his victories in the UFC have come by decision, with his most recent victory coming at UFC 152 against Lance Benoist.
Waldburger (16-7) was signed by the UFC in 2010 and has won five of his seven fights in the organization. He has won three of his last four and recently defeated Nick Catone at The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale, which he won the submission of the night bonus.
Stout (19-8-1) is a 15 fight veteran of the UFC and has won six fight win bonuses in the organization. He has won two of his last three fights and recently defeated Caros Fodor on the preliminary card of UFC 157.
Vallie-Flagg (14-3-1) entered the UFC last month after being with Strikeforce since 2011. He defeated Yves Edwards by split decision and it was his third straight win by split decision.
UFC 161 takes place on June 15th from the MTS Centre in Winnipeg and will be headlined by Renan Barao defending the interim bantamweight title against Eddie Wineland.
