Both fights were confirmed by the UFC and it was not announced where the fights will be placed on the the fight card.

Shields (27-6-1, 1NC) is returning to the welterweight division after his last fight was as a middleweight.

He originally won his last fight over Ed Herman but the fight was declared a no contest after Shield failed his post fight drug test.

Woodley (11-1) made his UFC debut last month at UFC 156 and defeated Jay Hieron by knockout in 36 seconds. It was his second career win by knockout and his first since 2010.

Barry (8-5) has won two of his last three fights and he won a fight night bonus in both of his victories. He has gone 5-5 in the UFC with four of those victories coming by TKO/KO. Jordan (14-4) has won two of his three fights in the UFC after coming over from Strikeforce. He recently defeated Mike Russow at UFC on FOX 6 by TKO and it was his tenth career win by knockout.

UFC 161 takes place on June 15th from the MTS Centre in Winnipeg and will be headlined by Renan Barao defending the interim bantamweight title against Eddie Wineland.
