Another heavyweight bout has been added to UFC 164 on August 31st in Milwaukee as Soa Palelei will face Nikita Krylov.
UFC officials confirmed the fight booking on Thursday night and the fight will take place on the preliminary card.
UFC 164 takes place on August 31st from the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the UFC has not announced the main event for the card at this time.
Palelei (18-3) is currently on a eight fight winning streak and has won ten of his last eleven fights with the only defeat coming against Daniel Cormier. This will be his second stint with the UFC and he was originally scheduled to face Stipe Miocic at UFC 161 in June. However, the UFC moved him off the card and replaced him with Roy Nelson.
Krylov (14-0) will be making his UFC debut in this fight and all of his wins have come in the first round with nine of his victories coming by submission. His most recent win came at M-1 Challenge 38 in April against Gabriel Tampu and he won the fight by TKO.
