A featherweight bout has been added to UFC on FS 1 on August 17th in Boston as former WEC champion Mike Brown will meet Akira Corassani. 
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Friday and the bout will take place on the preliminary card.
UFC on FS 1 takes place on August 17th from the TD Garden in Boston and the UFC is expected to announce the main event for the fight card shortly.
Brown (26-8) has won back to back fights in the UFC and this will be his first fight since he defeated Daniel Pineda at UFC 146 last year. Both of his recent victories have come by decision and he recently became on of the coaches with American Top Team in South Florida.
Corassani (11-3-1) has won both of his fights in the UFC after being on The Ultimate Fighter 14. Both of his wins have come by decision with his most recent win coming against Robbie Peralta at UFC on FUEL TV 9.
