Vitor Belfort is always looking for a finish in the first round and he once again achieve a first round stoppage with a TKO win over Luke Rockhold in the main event of UFC on FX 8 in Brazil.
Rockhold missed a head kick at the start of the fight which he slipped but was able to get back to his feet. Rockhold went for a takedown which was unsuccessful and Belfort landed a right hand.
After an exchange of strikes, Belfort landed a spinning head kick which dropped Rockhold and he finished the fight with punches on the ground.
Belfort (23-10) has now won back to back fights and appears to be the next contender for the UFC middleweight title.
