The same outlet that reported the fight between Teixeira and Bader also reported that the UFC is targeting to have former Strikeforce champion Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza meet Yushin Okami.

UFC officials have not confirmed either bout at this time but an announcement is expected soon from the promotion.

Bader (15-3) was originally scheduled to face Teixeira at UFC 160 on Memorial Day weekend but an injury forced him to pull out of the fight. He has won three of his last four fights with his only lost coming against former UFC champion Lyoto Machida at UFC on FOX 4 last year.

Teixeira (21-2) has opened his UFC career with four straight victories and has won his last nineteen fights. He is coming off a submission win over James Te Huna at UFC 160 and three of his four victories in the UFC have come by stoppage.

UFC on FS1 #3 will take place on September 4th and stay tuned to TheMMAReport.com for details on the venue for the fight card and more fight announcements.
