A welterweight bout has been added to UFC on FS1 #3 in Brazil on September 4th as Sean Spencer will face Yuri Villefort.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Wednesday and the fight is likely to be placed on the preliminary card.
UFC on FS1 #3 will come from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil and will be headlined by a five round light heavyweight bout as Glover Teixeira facing Ryan Bader.
Spencer (9-2) made his UFC debut earlier this year at UFC on FOX 6 and was defeated by Rafael Natal by arm triangle choke submission in the third round. The defeat snapped a three fight winning streak and both of his career defeats have come by submission.
Villefort (6-2) is a former Strikeforce fighter and made his UFC debut earlier this year. His UFC debut came against Nah-Shon Burrell and was defeated by unanimous decision. It was his second straight defeat and likely needs a victory to stay into the UFC.
