Another heavyweight bout has been added to UFC 166 in Houston as Shawn Jordan will meet Gabriel Gonzaga.
UFC officials confirmed the fight after the bout was reported by The Avocate in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
UFC 166 takes place on October 19th from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas and will be headlined by Cain Velasquez defending the UFC heavyweight title in his trilogy bout with former champion Junior dos Santos.
Jordan (15-4) has won three of his four fights in the UFC and is coming off a knockout of the night win at UFC 161 against Pat Barry. It was his second straight win and both of the victories have come by TKO.
Gonzaga (15-7) is currently in his second stint with the UFC and has won three of four since coming back to the promotion. He is coming off a 17 second knockout win over Dave Herman at UFC 162 and all of his career wins have come by stoppage.
