Bellator MMA has been the talk of the mixed martial arts community since they announced last week that its first pay-per-view would take place on November 2nd and be headlined by Quinton “Rampage” Jackson meeting Tito Ortiz.
The promotion held a conference call on Monday to give details on the upcoming pay-per-view with Jackson, Ortiz and Bellator MMA Chairman and CEO Bjorn Rebney.
On Friday, Rebney spoke to TheMMAReport.com and discussed the upcoming pay-per-view and how he was able to keep the fight quiet until they announced it last week during Bellator 97.
Also, Rebney gave an update on welterweight champion Ben Askren’s contract situation, potential four-man tournaments this fall, Attila Vegh’s injury, future of women’s division in Bellator, Rick Hawn, Karl Amoussou and more.
