A featherweight bout has been booked for UFC 166 in Houston on October 19th as Matt Grice will face Jeremy Larsen who is dropping down to the division from the lightweight division.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Wednesday night and the fight will take place on the preliminary card.
UFC 166 takes place on October 19th from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas and will be headlined by Cain Velasquez defending the UFC heavyweight title in his trilogy bout with former champion Junior dos Santos.
Grice (15-5) is currently in his second stint in the UFC and has dropped two of his three fights since coming back to the organization. His most recent bout came at UFC 157 and he earned the fight of the night bonus in his split decision defeat against Dennis Bermudez.
Larsen (8-4, 1NC) entered the UFC during The Ultimate Fighter 15 and has dropped both of his fights in the UFC as a lightweight. His most recent defeat came at UFC on FX 8 as he was defeated in the third round by TKO against Lucas Martins.
