A welterweight bout has been added to UFC 166 in Houston on October 19th as TJ Walkburger will meet Adlan Amagov.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Thursday and the bout will take place on the preliminary card.
UFC 166 takes place on October 19th from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas and will be headlined by Cain Velasquez defending the UFC heavyweight title in his trilogy bout with former champion Junior dos Santos.
Waldburger (16-7) has won three of his last four fights and during two of those wins, he won the submission of the night including his most recent win at The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale against Nick Catone. His last three wins have come by submission and two of those wins came in the first round.
Amagov (12-2-1) is currently on a two fight winning streak and won his UFC debut earlier this year at UFC on FUEL TV 9 against Chris Spang. He won the fight by decision and it was his welterweight debut.
