An injury has forced Michael Bisping to pull out of his UFC Fight Night 30 main event against Mark Munoz and taking his place in the bout will be Lyoto Machida.
UFC officials announced the change on Friday evening and the organization will be looking for a new opponent for Tim Kennedy, who was booked to meet Machida at UFC Fight Night 31.
UFC Fight Night 30 on October 26th will come from the Manchester Arena and the main card will air on Fox Sports 2 at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT.
Machida (19-4) will be dropping down to the middleweight division after going 2-2 in his last four fights. After winning back to back fights against Ryan Bader and Dan Henderson, he was defeated earlier this month by Phil Davis at UFC 163 by unanimous decision.
Munoz (13-3) is coming off an impressive decision win over Tim Boetsch at UFC 162 and has won five of his last six fights in the UFC. His only lost in his last six fights came against current UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman last year.
