Aleksandra Albu signs with UFC and makes debut at UFC Fight Night 33 against Julie Kedzie

Aleksandra Albu has officially signed with the UFC and she will make her debut with the organization against Julie Kedzie at UFC Fight Night 33.

UFC officials announced the fight booking on Tuesday and the fight will likely be place on the preliminary card on Fox Sports 1.

UFC Fight Night 33 will take place from the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in on December 7th in Australia and will be headlined by Mark Hunt meeting Antonio Silva in a heavyweight bout.

The event will air live in the United States on December 6th, due to the time difference between United States and Australia.

Albu (1-0) is a former bodybuilder and she is a member of the Red Fury Fight Team. According to her profile on Sherdog, her professional debut came in June where she won by TKO in the first round.

Kedzie (16-12) has lost her last three fights including her UFC debut earlier this year against Germaine de Randamie by split decision. Her last victory came in 2011 against Kaitlin Young at Jackson’s MMA 4 by unanimous decision.
